This was drawn on a sun bed in Menorca, Spain. I love the contrast these pencils give me, it makes the lens look so delicate.
Blend Blend Blend...

Details:
Bristol Board
with:
Derwent Graphic
Staedtler Mars Lumograph

It is very loosely based on a photograph that was given to me, alas i don't know who the photographer is.

Wow! Gorgeous drawing. I love the exquisite detail you drew into the eye....especially the reflections. What do you mean when you say "fill this in"? Is it not done?
Fantastic work of art. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, i was on holiday when i drew this so i meant the filling in of the details of materials etc... it is finished. Naturally we have such a small field of focus, i thought it a shame to explain the details of the extremities, instead i decided to leave the corners out so you may be drawn to then detail. Thanks for the comment...

wow, the eye looks so watery instead of dead, which most drawn eyes look for some reason..
Really good ^^

I owe it all to the Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils, and trying to keen the white bits white!

Thank you, it had been a bit of a battle with lashes but I think I've sorted it now... The problem is they are the last thing to put down, so if you screw them up you've ruined the drawing... Good to know you appreciate them!
